Kate is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. She is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their care.
Kate began her career in behavioral health as a Mental Health Associate on an addiction unit, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding substance use, recovery, and the complexities of mental wellness. This early experience shaped her patient-centered approach and deepened her passion for psychiatric care.
She later transitioned into nursing and spent five years working as a psychiatric registered nurse, providing direct patient care across a variety of mental health settings. Through this work, Kate gained extensive experience supporting individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric concerns.
Kate takes a holistic, individualized approach to treatment, integrating medication management with therapeutic support to promote emotional stability, independence, and long-term well-being. She works closely with patients to develop thoughtful care plans that align with their goals, values, and lived experiences.
